Presentation of the vineyard
The BERTINERIE vineyard is a family owned business run by DANIEL BANTEGNIES and his two sons, Eric and Frantz. With an area of approximately 60 hectares, it includes three vineyards, three terroirs, and three castles:
Château HAUT BERTINERIE
Château MANON LA LAGUNE
They produce red wines, pale wines, dry white wines and rosé wines in the “Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux” appellation.
The vineyard is characterized by the use of the lyre training system and the practice of reasoned agriculture (“lutte raisonnée”) which is close to organic growing, as well as manual harvests. Wines sold are ready to drink. They are produced and aged in the underground cellars.
Our wines are served in 71 starred restaurants across France and exported in 23 countries. To this day, they have won 59 gold, silver and bronze medals.
